Chanda's Gardens

Chanda got fed up with the mess our back yard had become, so she went to work on making it a better place (this of course meant my honey-do list got a little long for a while). These are the final results of our backyard transformation. It is really becoming a beautiful yard that is fun to be in. The kids love eating outside and its a peaceful place to just hang out in the evening hours.

Graduation Party

Josh and his friends got together for a pool party to celebrate their graduation. Many of these guys have been hanging out since kindergarten and even when they don't share the same classes they always get together at recess to play. I'm glad Josh has been able to surround himself with good friends that have great values and know how to have a good time.

They are soo ready for middle school. I hope their teachers are ready for them.

Movie time with Mom

I was hanging out at the computer last night and the house seemed really quiet so I went to find the kids and this is what I saw.
This is why we invested in a king size bed. We needed room for everyone in there.

Johsua's Graduation

Joshua graduated from 5th grade yesterday. Our oldest child is heading for middle school. He is pretty excited to move on while it scares Chanda and I to death. It feels like just yesterday we were taking him to kindergarten.
Wasn't he cute!
Now, I can almost see the face of the man he will someday be.
Graduation pics.
Getting his certificate.

FHE at the Pool

The kids wanted to go to pool the other day and since Chanda didn't want to take them all by herself she saved it for our family home evening activity. It was cloudy and only about 65 degrees but the kids don't ever seem to care. Here are some pics for our fun activity.

Me, enjoying watching the crazy kids in the cold water.

Chanda, looking as beautiful as ever.

Josh, waiting for the water ball to be thrown back.

Aimee, taking a breath before the next plunge.

Jacob, who would live in the water if he could.

Jeremiah, who finally has the confidence to go into the big pool, as long as he has his tube.

Bailee, the California girl.
Josh and Jacob love jumping in the pool together.
