Aimee's 7th Birthday

Aimee is 7 and she is in heaven. She knew that Aubrey was coming to celebrate her birthday but what she didn't know was that Autumn (Aubrey's mom) and I and Aubrey were taking them to Build-A-Bear. It was really fun to watch their excitement and smiles as they tried to figure out what they wanted to do most of all. In the end, both girls got a monkey and a pink doggy bed. Aimee's monkey is named Marsipan.
Here are the girls with their haul. I can just see them at 15 with the same smiles when they're done shopping.
Next we went to Pat and Oscar's for lunch. For you who've been - Their breadsticks are to die for. My favorite is the breadsticks and Greek salad. The girls got pizza. Here is Aimee opening her gift from Aubrey. A pink doggy purse with two dogs. These two are two peas in a pod. Their top interest is animals. Right now its, Monkey's, Dogs, & Horses.
Aimee had her little party on a Saturday before her birthday, but if you know Aimee, she is big on parties and wouldn't be happy if we didn't also celebrate her birthday on her actual day, so here we are September 24th for a family party. She is so much into a party that she took her gifts from Saturday and gifts from her stuffed animals and wrapped them up to open before cake. Aren't these just the cutest little Frey faces?:) I had told her to not expect any extra gift from us because the build a bear party was her gift, but she did get an extra suprise, I found a monkey with blanket that I couldn't resist.
I asked Aimee what kind of cake she wanted and she wanted a cake with animals. So she rummaged in her stash of littlest petshop and other toys and put them on for decoration.
Over all - I think Aimee is a pretty happy little 7 year old. We're so glad to have you in our family, babe!

Jeremiah's 3

So here we are with our sweet Jeremiah turning 3. He has really grown into his little boyness and not so much toddlerhood. I just love his smile.

Since Jeremiah was really little he has been facinated with skateboards. He loves to watch skateboarding and he claimed a little skateboard toy of Joshua's, so he helped me pick out a little skateboard toy for his birthday. It's so nice when they're little and are truly excited to see their gifts even though they know exactly what's coming. This year Jeremiah went shopping with me for his gift(as well as the other birthdays happening in the family.) When I was getting Jacob's birthday stuff, I picked up a box of "Sweet" (sour) skittles and Jeremiah claimed them right away. So when Jeremiah's birthday came, as much as he liked the gifts he got, I think what mattered most was the skittles. If you notice, he's got them in almost every picture.

I found this remote control speed racer car on clearance and perfect for Jeremiah. (see the skittles in one hand).
It was hilarious to watch him play with it. At one point he has it going in circles and he was following it around and around like a puppy trying to catch his tail. Here Jeremiah has got the remote on and chasing his car.
Here he finally caught his car. Yeah!

And he's ready to go again. So funny!

Oh whatever do we need tv for when we have children? They are so entertaining.(truly tv is for us as a babysitter, but not for our own interest.)

With so much birthday between David and Bailee's birthdays, I sometimes try to be creative on the cake situation. Jacob had a couple of pieces of cake left over from his birthday, but not enough for everyone, and the icecream was about the same, so I crumbled the cake into the icecream and put them into cupcake papers and refroze for Jeremiah's birthday. Here he is blowing out the candles.

So like I said, icecream/cake cupcakes. . . great for creative genious, but too cold for Jeremiah to hold onto I guess, so he opted for hands free enjoyment.

Happy Birthday sweet Jeremiah!
