Chia Pet with Teeth

Bailee is our little Chia Pet.
Every time I give her a bath and wash her hair,
she looks like she's got more than she had before.

Our Bailee has two teeth and its rare to get smiles and teeth.
Right now she's working on more and not so smiley.

Josh's Wilbur Narrative - 3rd grade assignment

Hi, my name is Wilbur and I live on a farm that is owned by the Luckermens. There are a lot of animas here like Charlotte the spider. She likes to spin webs. Then there's the Goose and she is always talking! Boy she gets on my nerves! I have a strange personality because I like to sleep on my manure pile and I'm very sensitive. Other people think I'm a cry baby because they say stuff that makes me cry. It is pretty fun in the barn because I get to talk to my friends. My worst day of my life was when the sheep told me that I was going to die. The people started fattening me up for Christmas dinner so they could eat me. Charlotte has a plan to save me but I don't know what the plan is. I feel scared and nervous because I don't know what will happen. That is why it was my worst day of my life.

Kid Cooks

Josh is starting to learn to cook his own food. He has been getting cereal for himself and his brothers and sister for some time now, which Chanda likes because she can sleep in longer but he is now branching out to using the stove. His first adventure was to make his own grilled cheese sandwiches. Then the other day I needed help making a simple dinner so Josh cooked the hot dogs in the frying pan while I got the rest of the fixings ready.

Look at that perfectly browned sandwich.

Yummy, hot dogs. He also watched over the corn on the cob that was also cooking on the stove.

Aimee loves to cook as well but still needs a little more supervision. Here Chanda and Aimee were making chocolate chips cookies.

So Joshua had his 3rd grade "I Need A Vacation" performance.
Of course we were late. The kids were to be there 1/2 hour early (which we were), but that means the parents are also 1/2 hour early. So that meant we were late for a seat. Our pictures are representative of the seat. But you can still see Joshua a little, he's on the second row next to a kid with black hair.

*I tried to attach a video but never could. Oh well.

We got a few pictures after the show and then for fun some of the family on the way home. I love family moments because they're so real.

Joshua what a cutie. We love you!

Aimee is always finding the moment to love on her brother.

Jeremiah is such a big boy.

Jacob loves sitting next to his baby sister.

Bailee has got to wonder about me and my camera happiness.

David cracks me up. Now you know that all the kids' silliness is inherited from their dad.

And me with arms stretched out. I really do like digital - instant gratification for all these pictures and without spending a dime.
